DPA files 2022 Annual Report

On February 9, 2023, the Division of the Public Advocate filed their 2022 Annual Report. Some highlights from 2022: 

• Consistent consumer engagement
• Electric and Gas rate cases and natural gas commodity price increases
• Potential 2023 rate cases
• $1.9 million from AMP to reduce account balances of limited-income customers
• Reduction in Tidewater Utilities’ rates
• Refund to Artesian Water customers
• And, continued advocacy before PJM and FERC on the Indian River RMR and other issues.
