On February 9, 2023, the Division of the Public Advocate filed their 2022 Annual Report. Some highlights from 2022:
- Consistent consumer engagement
- Electric and Gas rate cases and natural gas commodity price increases
- Potential 2023 rate cases
- $1.9 million from AMP to reduce account balances of limited-income customers
- Reduction in Tidewater Utilities’ rates
- Refund to Artesian Water customers
- And, continued advocacy before PJM and FERC on the Indian River RMR and other issues.
