The PSC is holding a public hearing on its proposed Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) regulation and related cost cap provisions (see http://regulations.delaware.gov/…/20%20DE%20Reg%20713%2003-…) on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., during its regularly-scheduled meeting. Delmarva Power and Light customers, now is YOUR chance to let the PSC hear what you think these proposed rules! The DPA has been arguing the law needs to be followed as the legislature intended – see… our prefiled comments to the PSC at https://publicadvocate.delaware.gov/docs/DPA_reg56_032317.pdf .
Can’t attend the public comment session? Written comments are accepted by the PSC until April 24, 2017; email joseph.delosa@delaware.gov with the subject “Regulation Docket No. 56.”
This isn’t about supporting renewables or not; rather, it’s about how much of a cost burden Delmarva’s customers should bear. The legislature included price protections and it’s time they are followed.
